Why The Bahamas should be your next Caribbean vacation destination


The Bahamas has a warm tropical climate with year-round sunshine. The country’s landscape ranges from jungle to beaches and coral reefs to rolling mountains. This is the perfect place for you and your loved ones to go on vacation, as it has something for everyone!

It is in fact made up of 700 hundred variously sized but mostly uninhabited islands. So naturally, there is a lot more to do than hitting the crystal white sand beaches or diving into the shimmering clear blue waters.

The Caves

Located in New Providence, the caves are said to have sheltered the original Amerindian inhabitants of the island.

Tour of Cat Island

From the breathtaking view from the top of cat island to old cotton plantations, to the almost two-centuries-old St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church this island is bursting with history. It’s also home to iconic leading man Sir Sidney Poitier’s childhood home!

Inagua Lighthouse

Located on the island of Inagua and built-in 1870, this piece of history is still powered by kerosene and fully operational.

Wine & Cheese Pairing

It is available by appointment only, Monday to Friday @ 2 pm. The cost is $187.50 per person, and you must be at the age of 18 years or older.

For the Birdwatchers!

The Abaco islands are home to the green Abaco parrot, an endangered species. It is the only bird in the Caribbean that nests in the ground.

Water Sports!

On Eleuthera and Harbour Island water activities range from kayaking, parasailing, and surfing to jet skiing and snorkeling.

-If you’re a snorkeling enthusiast, The Exumas islands have some of the most colorful plant life and reefs.

Traveling Between Island

Small aircraft and Ferries traverse the islands regularly.
